So you all remember that vacation I took at the beginning of last month? Yeah well I still have not gotten paid for it yet. The girl who does payroll now is new and that was the first pay period she was flying solo. So she asked for help from the stupid hanger people and was of course told wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So everyone who took paid leave of any kind got messed up. Okay well it will be fixed in the next pay period. Okay so that was yesterday. Get this everyone who had problems last pay period got it fixed yesterday but me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The bitc* at the hanger did them all but mine even though she was told about mine as well. So our girl in our office says I have to wait till next pay period to get my money. I was like WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No friggin' way is that fair. So when I left yesterday the director was going to the hangar and she was going to try and get my money to me faster.

Stupid and they wonder why I hate my job sometimes. Oh and then get this I send a quilt off to be quilted and the girl doesn't tell me how much it will be and then emails and says where did I put the check in the box. Well uh you didn't tell me a charge I have never sent you a rush and you always tell me the charge when I email you with quilts that I am sending you.

I think it is just my week for stupid.

 So I don't understand something here. Yesterday went outside to hang out with the neighbors across the street from me. Forget sandals for my feet and so I came home for those, a glass of water and a chair cause we were short a couple. In that time the $itc* next door runs over like the spoiled brat that she is. So I see that she was over there and left my chair drying in the front yard and came back in my house hoping she would leave. Finished making my salad for later and checked to see if she was still out there. Yup so I closed my door and did other things. About 10 minutes after closing my door the 2 neighbors I was going to hang out with came over to see if I would come out and sit with them cause they didn't want to hang out with her and according to them it was time the stuff between the bnd and I ended. I told them that I couldn't because she was there. Their answer back was I didn't have to talk to her I would just be sitting with them. Nope can't do it. DH hears and comes to the door and tells them that we can't come out cause she is there. Then he tells them why. So that they will stop hounding me. They finally get it and say they'll call when she leaves.

Now if you tell someone that you can't be there because of another person don't you think that they would understand and leave it at that. They know wrong was done and that I refuse to talk/be around her at all. She is poison. So why would you hound me to do it. I refuse to make other people uncomfortable and well I don't like to listen to her voice period. The thing that pushed it over the edge of no return was when she tried to get my hubby in trouble and he has told her husband to keep her away from both of us. I don't even speak to the children. Cause when I did the 4 year old boy would always say mean things to me that she coached him to say.

The easiest thing for me to do is stay away from her and not speak to or at anyone living in that house. It is pretty sad when you are talking to other neighbors and can tell that you are being watched so that one person will know when you live to go out and pry information out of others. I hate living here sometimes.

Okay so picture this: At work floor is filthy. I mean like gross dirt. Has been so for the 2 weeks I have been back from vacation. Same piece of trash sitting in the same place for those 2 weeks. What would you do? Would you A) ignore it and hope somebody else sweeps and mops the place, B) sweep it up and not mop it thought cause well you swept it somebody else should mop it, or C) sweep and mop the whole floor cause it is filthy and well you are trying to make the place look nice?

Well I choose C. Why because I couldn't stand it anymore. It was gross!!!!!!!!!!! I am thinking it hasn't been mopped since craft fair day when I did it and then went on vacation. So what happens cause I swept and mopped? I got told that I shouldn't have by the director. Yup that is right. I got told I should have left it!!!!!!! See we had this store meeting/training day on Monday and in that meeting I told the manager that I felt like I was the only one who swept and mopped the whole store all the freaking time. So maybe she should assign people to do this daily or weekly whatever so that everyone takes a turn and it gets done. So it is Friday and still the piece of trash was in the same place and I had time before the store opened to sweep the whole place and almost enough time to mop the whole store (got most of it done). Well I had a little procedure done on Wednesday to help with other things and since I did that on Wednesday and then mopped the floor cause you know a broom and mop are so freaking heavy I was told I shouldn't have. In which I told her back well I have given the others 2 weeks to do it and nobody else has so it was gross. Besides if her boss had come over and seen our floor he would have yelled at her which in turn would have pissed her off to turn around and yell at the manager who would have in turn made me do it anyways.

GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad that I have all 3 days of the holiday weekend off!! I hope to get 2 pairs of shorts taken in, wash my car, quilt my one day class quilt from before my vacation, baste the challenge quilt that I have been making, sew a top for another that is for a friend at work, see a movie maybe and go to the 50th state fair. Yup that is alot to pack into 3 days but I think that I can get most of it done.

Can you believe I went back to work and had even less time than I had before my vacation for things. I swear all I did last week was go to work and spend time at my doctor's. In fact I have to go to my doctor today for a shot and tomorrow for an appointment. That will be 5 times in a week that I will have seen him. The things you do for something you really really want.

So I haven't had a chance to look at let alone crop down any pictures from my vacation. Maybe this weekend I will have some time. I am supposed to be off all 3 days so we shall see if that really happens or not. I am crossing my fingers that it does but not really holding my breath. I all ready have tomorrow off cause of my doctor's appointment. So if I end up going in on Saturday for a bit that would be all right. Well not really but if it helps the other guy out then so be it.

At least I have the scrapbook for our Hawaii time now. Picked it up when I went back to work. Of course I forgot to get refill pages so I will have to pick those up now cause I know I will have more than the pages the book comes with and would rather have them on hand than run out and be at a stand still.

Vacation was good. Seeing parents was good. Only they don't know how to make up their minds on stuff and don't travel well. Oh well life happens. It was a good week all in all. Glad it is over but not looking forward to work this afternoon. I will survive. I will survive. Wonder what kind of changes have happened while I have been gone. Don't really care that much cause I am not the boss. Just tell me what to do and I will do it.

Went to the big island. DH and I plan on going back when we can walk out on the lava flow and see the lava close up. Couldn't do that with the parents here cause they would have gotten hurt. So didn't really get any shots of that. Did get to see a turtle up close and a whole bunch playing in the water at one of the black sand beaches. That was really neat. Only saw stuff on half the island cause it is so big. But flights are cheap and we can go back another time.

Haven't fussed with the pictures much yet so have none to share. Hopefully will get to that soon. But no promises on that. Have a great week!!

Okay so I think that pretty much says it all. Have a great week! I am going to join the circus of fun for the next week!!!

So this has been an interesting week for me. Started on Tuesday when I went back to work. All was going well for a time then the manager (Vic) was called into the director's office. She comes back out and says that she has been let go. Uh okay. She was supposed to be leaving in 3 weeks from that day anyway so why would she be let go you ask? Well it seems she was given 2 choices: Have your hours cut and a set schedule or resign early. So you know what she chose. So now we have a new manager who doesn't know how to do her job and isn't learning at all. All she has done really this week is make an even bigger mess in the backroom than what she started with. Oh yeah and we have one of our big craft fair days tomorrow! So yeah nothing has been done for that. Well I take that back. The stuff that I got marked today was all that is done for craft fair. Nothing else. Thank goodness we aren't doing anything really tough for the day tomorrow. Just trying to run the store without it collapsing around us. So can't wait for tomorrow to be over. I will be on vacation for the week with my parents and hubby will be home really soon. Like can count on one hand soon.

Just have to make it thru tomorrow. I am off to collapse in my chair now. Have a great weekend!!

So my parents will be here on Sunday and DH shortly after they arrive!!!!!!!!!!!!! This month that has seemed like 2 is almost over!!!!!! But I have gotten lots done in this month. I have made 3 quilt tops and have 4 that are ready to be quilted. Also made 50 Christmas cards. All that is left is to glue the vellum on the inside and stamp a saying on that. Am almost finished with a crocheted baby blanket and have managed to not gain any weight but then again haven't lost a pound either. Even have managed to save some money!!!!

A productive month I do say so. Let's hope that I can keep that up. Have lots of sightseeing to do with the parents. We are thinking of going on an overnight to another island. Not sure about that yet. We will see. But we will be doing things that they didn't do last time. So I just have to make it thru this week at work and then I will be off for a full week!!!!! Yipee!

So another weekend gone by. Oh boy did I get lots done. I got labels and hanging tabs on all my finished quilts this weekend. Even got 3 of them hung up. Now I just have to hang the turtle one and all will be done. Got started on another quilt for a challenge. Finished the top of the flamingo quilt for my mom. Now on the search for the perfect backing. So far that is a no go. Went shopping on Monday and got 2 of the 3 fabrics for my class on Saturday and the main fabric for a quilt that I have been asked to make. I am thinking of running to the quilt shop before work today to find my 3rd fabric. Keep your fingers crossed on that one. Also started my Christmas cards. All I have left for them is to color in the scarfs and hats and attach it to the actual card and put the saying inside. So going well. Have been very productive. It was awesome!!! Crocheting a baby blanket as well and that is going good.

Downside right now is that I think that I am coming down with a cold. I mean I feel it coming and there is really nothing I can do to stop it. Oh man this sucks!! Oh well at least I will get it out of the way before my parents and hubby come home. But it still sucks!!!

Got my toes painted purple yesterday. Of course I am going back next Thursday to get them done in a different color and get a manicure and eyebrow wax before everyone gets here. I think that it will help my feet out alot with all the walking around I will be doing when the parents are here for the week.

So had my quilt finishing class on Wednesday. It was fun. I finished (minus the label) one quilt in class and then one quilt later on at home. So now I just have one quilt that needs hanging tabs and 4 that need labels from that pile. From the other pile I have one that needs binding, hanging tabs and label and another one that has to be quilted and then all the finishing stuff. Then there is the flamingo quilt that I have to add another row onto. Oh my how these things add up when you aren't really thinking about it. Still having fun with it though. The flamingo one is the first one that is a non class quilt. Pretty cool I think and I didn't mess it up very much. Only had to rip out a little bit and then put it back together. I hope my mom likes it.

So here are the 2 quilts. They were both one day classes. The first one is called a Nickel Quilt. Not my favorite thing at all. I can honestly say I will never do another quilt like that again. The reason behind that is the size of the pieces to put it together. They are 1 1/2" squares and 1 1/2"x 2 1/2" rectangles. Very small and icky to me. Also not a big fan of the applique portion of quilting. Maybe it was just what I was doing and how it was working for me that day but not my favorite either.

This next one is called "Turtle Party". The heads and tails stick out from the body of the quilt to give it a 3D look. I even embellished with a fish button in the center of where the turtle heads are. This one was a lot more fun to make and Once I got it down went together rather quickly.

One of these days I will decide what I want my sampler quilt to look like and send it off to be quilted. It will probably be after my parents come next month so that they can see it since the other one is currently at the quilters. Have a busy weekend ahead of me with yup you guessed it quilting and crafting involved.
