  • So Halloween has come and gone again. We had one trick or treater. DH was so upset. But that is what happens when you live up on top of the hill and there are only 9 houses on your street and your side only has 4 of the 3 plexes full and only 2 have kids and the other end all takes their kids else where. So he took the bag of candy into the boat and let them have it all. Maybe next year when we live in a new house and a new state Halloween will be better for him. Of course he wants to take baby out trick or treating next year. I say no. The following year yes. Next year no.


    Talked to MIL yesterday who asks so when is your next appointment. Next month some time. Have to make it after the ultrasound at the end of the month. She says your having another ultrasound? Yes this is the main one. Oh why so many. I swear sometimes she doesn't think. The first one was to see that yes I was pregnant and there is only one baby there. The second was cause we didn't hear the heartbeat and to make sure all was good with baby. Now will be this one. I am sure that this will be the last one. But come on it took 12 years to do this and by crackie they are watching a little more close. I am not complaining at all. In fact it is quite nice to get more than just one and to see baby all those times. I swear she doesn't think sometimes. Drives me nuts!!!!!


    Other than that all is well out here. Had some really hard rain on Saturday night. It was insane. It rained so hard that it woke us up several times. Then there was the thunder and lightining. Which has happened only once before that since we have been here. So cat is freaking out. I can't stay asleep and hubby keeps waking up. Then Sunday we get up and it is still raining till about 9ish. Then it stops for the whole day. When does it start up with the freaking coming down monsoon type rain? 7pm!!! Just as the football game ends and amazing race starts. Thunder, lightining and hard monsoon type rain. So we had to turn the tv all most all the way up while it rained just to hear it. All is well till about 9:55pm then the cable and interenet go out. So do I have any idea how Shark ends? NOPE!!! It also looks like we will get more today.

  • That's alot of rain!  It's rained like that here a few times... but not too many.  The hailstorm 5 yrs ago was worse.  You had to yell in the house to hear each other.  Not to mention what baseball sized hail driven by 60 mph winds does to your home and vehicles... 

  • I didn't know you got thunderstorms out there.  We dont' here, so it's just plain old boring old rain.  No excitement, but that means no tornadoes, either, so that's OK. 

    *sigh*  What would we do without MIL's?  Oh yeah - be single and carefree. 

  • You are due within 2 days of another one of my subs...ThatsMrsMayorToYou  We had quite a few trick-or-treaters this year but in years past we have had none to about 5.  Crazy.  I love seeing all the little costumes.
