• I must stop going out in public around here. I swear every time we go somewhere we are surrounded by stupid people.

  
  

  Yesterday we went to Sports Authority to buy a poker table. Great deal no stupid people and it was fast and painless. So DH wants a slurpee from 7-11. He loves these things and they are remodeling the one down the street from our house so the next closest one is about a 5 minute drive from the house. So he only gets them now if we are driving by a 7-11. I know weird but hey he is happy. So we stop at the first 7-11 after the sports authority and get out and go inside. Now in this one all the drinks things are in the back corner of the store and I'm not talking a big corner. Well smart layout would be all the drink type machines next to each other with cups on one end of the set up. Yeah not at this one. Let's put the slurpee machines here and then the cups right at the corner of the wall and then the other soda fountain. So if you want a cup you have to crowd into the corner and then get out of the way quickly so that others can get a cup. Well low and behold there is another couple getting drinks of some sort. Well male part of couple has his drink and is not helping female part of couple with whatever the hell she is dinking with. Turns out she is trying to separate a cup holder while standing right in front of all the cups and has no drinks as of yet. Only 2 empty slurpee cups. Do you think that she moves out of the way of the cups? Oh no why would you want to do that. So we reach around her to get cups and lids, spill lids on floor as she stands and stares at us. We have our cups and get our slurpees and she is still standing right in front of the cups. Now moving on to pay. They sell this thing out here everywhere called spam musbi. Bascially it is a block of rice with a slice of spam on top wrapped in seaweed and then in plastic wrap. Well this case is right by the front counter cause they are sold hot. Whatever. Well we think that the person digging thru the case is in line to pay because that is how close the hot case is to the register. So we line up behind the Samoan gentleman who looks to be standing in line behind the blond woman digging in the musbi case. Yeah neither one of these people is in line. The Samoan is wanting to get his musbi and the other lady is taking everyone of them out of the case for some reason. Not sure why cause we got around them paid and got out of there. Amazingly we run into stuff like that everytime we go somewhere. The best is the ones that are at all the mall and stop with their kids in strollers to adjust the child in some way but do it smack in the middle of the walkway instead of moving to one side or the other of the aisle or up just a bit to the big corner spot.

  
  

  Ah life on the rock! I hope everyone is ready for the big day this week. My turkey is out and thawing. The ham is out and thawing across the street. Everything else is bought and standing by to cook. Yippee!!
