  • So hubby got underway again. After sitting in the armpit of Alaska for an extra 2 days. I say armpit cause there is nothing there to do or anything. The place they sat at was where the fishing boats off load their catch at times. So processing plant and not much else. Oh well. They have phones so that means getting to talk.


    I hope everyone else's week is going well. Christmas night my ac unit decided to stop working. I think that the mainteance guy that I had come out to fix a leak had something to do with it but I won't know till at least January 2nd. Yup that is right call them first thing on the 26th and the first appointment they have wasn't till a week later. I even tried the 6 months pregnant card. Didn't do a thing. Gosh I hate it here. So far the weather has been cooperating with my no ac. Overcast and cool with rain showers off and on. I have 4 fans going nonstop in my house. So that is helping as well. Last night I got darn cold in bed with 2 fans and the open window. Woke up this morning after 8 full hours of sleep to see that it had pretty much rained all night!!! No wonder I got cold and slept so well. Kitty is doing well considering. He is staying on the bed alot during the day and coming down and eating and drinking during the night and first thing in the morning. I was kinda worried about him but he empties his food dish each day so no biggy there. I know he is as miserable as I am but we are both hanging in there.


    I think I am being punished by the mainteance gods cause I call when things start to go bad. Like with water leaks, as soon as I hear/find it I am on the phone. I don't want freaking mold to start growing in my house. Of course with no ac going I am sure the mold is like going to take over any day now. Oh well life goes on. Here is to surviving the weekend with no ac. Can we say no laundry will be done if it has to go in the dryer? Here is also hoping to cloudy days with rain and cloudy nights with rain.

  • No a/c is baaaaaaaaad.  Well... where you are.  I wouldnt' be needing it here in December, but if it was summer and broke, I'd die.  Seriously.  I don't do heat.  Ick. 

    So.  I think you should have this baby on my birthday.  4/13.  That would be cool.   :)  

  • Hey...don't you have a brother?  So doesn't that mean you know at least a few things about boys?  Like, how weird they are?  heehee
